Biography:
White Canary is a character appearing in the TV show Arrow, first appearing in season 2, episode 13, "Heir to the Demon."
Portrayed by Caity Lotz, she is introduced as Sara Lance, who had been presumed dead after disappearing at sea with Oliver Queen. However, it is revealed she survived and spent years training with the League of Assassins.
Initially known as The Canary, she fights alongside Oliver in Starling City. Sara tragically dies in season three. However, she is later resurrected using the Lazarus Pit and eventually takes on the mantle of White Canary. She then joins the Legends of Tomorrow team, using the name Canary. In this role, she leads the team as the captain for many years.
